French terry is a knit similar to jersey fabric, with a smooth side and soft, flat piles of yarn on the other side. This fabric is cozy, moisture-wicking, absorbent, and extremely soft. 

It is used for a wide variety of clothing - sweatshirts, leggings, loungewear, sweatpants, shorts, and it is perfect in cloth diapering, particularly for stretchy flats. 

Being un-bleached, it takes dye well, making it perfect for creative projects.
